QUESTION:

How do you do work?

ANSWER:

Julie Says:

Obsessively. No really. If I'm not working a piece, I'm designing. I work in the studio with my tools and supplies and I work with travel kits on planes, trains, boats, buses, and cars. I have one piece that has been worked on in a plane, train and boat.

Jen Says:

With music playing, alone or with my sister who understands not talking while working. Usually a piece starts as a sketch, which is turned into a life size template for execution. Sometimes I will get a bug about a particular piece and work on it non-stop until it's completed. I like a selection of projects to match my mood, energy level and ability to switch gears should a piece hit a roadblock and need to be put in time out for a bit.
