Swatches some of the materials used for the fashion show outfits. From these pieces, I created the designs below. We committed to the show on late notice so we chose chain maille as the main design feature because of the on-demand, instant resizing ability of maille. (pronounced like mail).

Green slices of whisky bottles create a medley of brilliant green necklaces and matching earrings. Accented by the warmth of copper. Created for the outfit of Alice's mom.

Necklace: focal piece is a free-form cut piece of glass from a growler. Clusters of Czech glass beads are interspersed with mobius units.

Bracelets: the handflower features ring created from the neck of a Bailey's bottle. The beads are Czech glass and also features mobius units (chain maille). The bangle bracelet is simply the Czech glass colors.

Earrings: Czech glass clustered on graduated sizes of chain maille rings to mimic the quilling pattern of the outfit. Niobium ear wires. Niobium is physiologically inert and hypoallergenic. NO nickle or copper content.

The "Orange Set". Part of the crazy caterpillar outfit.

Necklaces: Neck-wire of orange and clear beads and a ribbon necklace featuring a free-form cut piece of a growler.

Earrings are bits of a wine bottle with byzantine (chain maille) and clusters of orange Czech beads.

Bracelet: memory wire with all Czech glass beads.

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum were dressed in bright red and white. The jewelry to match used chain maille weaves beaded shaggy loops, Japanese 12 in 1, and a touch of full persian. The glass for the twins' outfits are the same except one set is made with frosted clear glass the other remains all shiny.

The other set for Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. This is the shiny glass set.

The White Rabbit - blue jacket, pink nose/ears and of course - white fur. Soft pastels came to mind. Necklace features a drop made from a Pinnacle Vodka bottle suspended from a fused bar of Coca Cola bottle. Earrings are fused/fire polished Coca Cola bottle bits with a touch of chain maille and a drop of pink (think rabbit noses).
