The Bremerton Empty Bowl Fundraiser, 2015
Our last year donating to the event. Additional donations were working with Bremerton Mayor Patty Lent, Councilmembers Mike Sullivan and Jerry McDonald.

Bremerton City Councilperson Mike Sullivan joined Mayor Lent and I to create these 2 bowls for the event, 2015.
After an incredibly long day, Bremerton City Councilperson, Jerry McDonald still found time to stop in and make an art donation piece for the fundraiser.
By this time, we were pretty good at guiding the city officials on their tight schedules. Jerry has always been so pleasantly willing to help out our community in any small way he can. The prior year, his first piece was a small bowl. This year, he stepped up his game to make an art donation piece. He had been in to see our art quite a few times by now, so while he won't profess to be an art glass artist per se, he wasn't a complete novice.

Studio "action" shot. In response to our stating we are glass artists, often we hear "I want to come watch you blow glass!" We are kiln-formed glass artists and here is one of the "action" shots.
